Smashing Magazine is one of my favorite blogs right now... it's a large site with a lot of different authors but it has a clean design, is easy to navigate, and most importantly has great content. Topics include web design, graphic design, UX, themes, CSS, jQuery, software tools, and more. They also provide tons of freebies, particularly icons, photoshop brushes, and blog themes.
